Treat Box

It's been a long time since I've had a subscription box or a one off surprise box land on my door mat. Even though I am a massive fan of them, a few months ago I cancelled all my subscriptions to see what life would be like without them, partly because of my worrying addiction to Graze flapjacks which would disappear as soon as my box arrived! One thing I've learnt by doing this is that life is a lot more grey and dull without a good dose of post, which is why I was really excited to try out this month's Treat Box by Not Shabby Very Chic.

Being the month of love, the February box was full of girly, floral related pretty goodies for a good dose of self love. As soon as I opened my box I was greeted with a beautiful rose scent which I found out was coming from a heart shaped bath bomb. My box was filled with all sorts of goodies, including pretty home decorations from Sass and Belle, who are one of my favourite brands. I can't wait to use these goodies to brighten up my bedroom. The floral shopping bag will be extremely useful too, now that we need to take our own bags everywhere in the UK. This month's box also featured a dainty bracelet by Lisa Angel worth £15.

There are so many surprise boxes on the market, some with very steep price tags for not much content so I'm really impressed by the Treat Box and its very competitive price tag of £12. There's been a lot of time and love gone into the theme and picking out the right items which can range from home accessories, stationery, jewellery, sweet treats and toiletries.

Another thing I really like about Treat Box is that you can buy a one off at £12.95 from past or future ranges or sign up for a running subscription at £12 a month. You can also purchase build your own boxes at £13.95, which is great if you love to know what you're going to get or if you want to make up a special gift for a loved one.

I definitely think one off boxes are the way forward for me. Life is so much better with a few treats posted to your door. I can see myself ordering from Not Shabby Very Chic sometime in the near future. For now I can't wait for a good soak in my bath tonight with the beautiful bath bomb.

Whether you're single or taken I hope you have a lovely Valentines Day!
