If you go down to the woods today....

...You're sure of a big surprise.
A big blooming blue surprise. One of my favourite things about spring time in England are the bluebells. This year they have been so beautiful. Last sunday, I took a short trip to Burrows Lea in Surrey, to walk in the amazing woodland garden in the Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary. The garden is so peaceful, you can't hear a single car, in fact its pretty silent unless the sheep in near by fields get talkative. It doesn't take much time to stroll around the garden, even while I constantly took photos of the bluebells. Here is the outfit I wore for the little outing and a few of the shots that I took of the bluebells.

Dress: Oasis - Charity shop
Denim Jacket: Levis - Charity shop
Belt: Asos
Clutch bag: Vivienne Westwood
Shoes: Office
toeless tights: Marks and Spencer
Bracelet: Vintage - Charity Shop

My mum bought me this dress a few months ago, I like the 50's feel to it and it fits perfectly. The shoes were also my mums! She bought them for a big birthday, not meantioning which one, but after she decided they weren't right on her, which is silly, but I'm not going to argue when free shoes are involved! I do love that we're the same shoe size. I recenly, purchased the denim jacket, something that even a year ago, I would have never wanted, I still remember the embarrassing double matching denim of the 90's, that I cringed at even as a child, so it seems crazy how much I love this jacket. I've been wearing it a lot, and yes, with jeans! Not matching denim though, I couldn't do that to the child within.

I hope everyone had a lovely May bank holiday.
